Delete your SPARQ account

SPARQ - Real Connections lets you delete your account and associated data in the app, or by email.

Delete in the app

Open SPARQ and sign in.
Go to Profile, then Legal, then Privacy & Data.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm Delete my account.

Deletion starts immediately and cannot be undone.

Delete by email

Email support@sparq.com from the address on your account. Use the subject “Delete my SPARQ account” and include the email or phone number on the account. We complete the request within 30 days.

Data that is deleted

Account details: name, email, phone number, date of birth, and login
Profile: photos, bio, prompts, interests, and preferences
Location, swipe history, emergency contact, and face-match score
Messages, within 30 days of account deletion or when a match ends, whichever comes first
Verification selfies, within 90 days of verification being approved or rejected

Data that is kept

Moderation and safety logs, for 24 months
Match history after 12 months, with identifying details removed
Data we must keep for law or an active safety investigation, including accounts on a legal hold
Anonymized statistics that cannot identify you
